FLAG   HOLDERS For    US   Veterans

 

       

Designed and Patented by the Bristol CT. Veterans' Council in 2006.
  This Flag Holder was created with ease of use and longevity in mind,  and made of a special resin
 that is resistant to fading or accidental  breakage.  The crest is attached to an 18-inch support spike
 designed for easy ground penetration.
  

All Veterans that are Bristol residents at the time of death will receive a flag holder
by the Bristol Veterans Council.  It will be presented to the family
by the Military Honor Firing Squad at the time of burial.

AN EFFORT TO PRESERVE THE WALKWAY LEADING TO THE SITE OF THE VIETNAM MEMORIAL,
AND IN KEEPING WITH THE PURPOSE OF MEMORIAL BOULEVARD,
THE BRISTOL VETERAN'S COUNCIL IS CONSTRUCTING A TRIBUTE WALKWAY OF ENGRAVED BRICKS
OPEN TO ALL VETERANS, PAST AND CURRENT, REGARDLESS OF RESIDENCE.

THE PRICE OF EACH BRICK IS  $50.  AND WILL CONTAIL THE VERETAN'S NAME AND BRANCH OF SERVICE.
